THE STRANGEROOS

The Strangeroos are a three-piece originals band based on the New Hampshire Seacoast, just north of Boston. We play raw, stripped-down rock with a surfy garage edge, a power-pop pulse, and a shot of cowpunk.

Our recordings are deliberately kept close to the live sound: minimal production, few overdubs, with most vocal and instrumental parts captured in one take. Our latest release, Strange Country, is a seven-song collection of gritty, story-driven songs about fake cowboys, plastic dreams, restless nomads and other characters wandering through a strange little corner of American life.

The Strangeroos are especially suited to original-music bills, opening slots and multi-band shows throughout New England.

Recent/past venues include The Midway Cafe, The Jungle, O'Brien's, Remnant Brewing Satellite, The Square Root, Auspicious Brew, Milk St. Studios, The Shaskeen, The Garage at Governor's Inn, and The Chop Shop.
