About the band: Mike Strange (lead guitar & vocals): "The Creep" (bass & vocals); Barnabus Stilletto (drums). The Strangeroos are based in the New Hampshire seacoast area, just a bit north of Boston. 

The music of The Strangeroos: Surf-tinged rock with a garage/cowpunk/post-punk backbone. We play all-original music in a raw, stripped down style. We've released three DIY EPs recorded mixed and mastered by our good friend Craig Fowler in “The Tavern" (his home studio). Most of the tracks were done in one take with the goal of having our studio sound map on to our live sound, with no frills and no over production. The goal is to continue to write, record, play openers and multi-band gigs, and to connect with, and build relationships with, other bands,venues, and bookers. 

Venues we've played: Boston: The Midway Cafe; The Jungle; O'Brien's; Underbones (below Redbones); Remnant Brewing Satellite (Cambridge); The Square Root (Roslindale). In NH: Auspicious Brew (Dover); Milk St. Studios (Dover); The Blue Flame (Durham); The Shaskeen (Manchester); The Garage at Governor's Inn (Rochester); The Chop Shop (Seabrook).
